The legal division, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific seminar entitled ( legal protection of the privacy of the university lecture ) delivered by Assistant Teacher Elaf Abdul Rasul Sabri.
The seminar, which was attended by a number of members of the institute, aims to spread legal awareness that any violation of a university lecture, whether by a student, a teacher or a university employee, constitutes a disciplinary crime at times, and at other times it is a disciplinary and criminal crime with civil compensation for the damage caused by this crime through social networking sites .
The seminar included several axes, the most important of which was the statement of the concept of legal protection of the privacy of the university lecture as well as the statement of constitutional, criminal and disciplinary legislation that criminalized the violation of privacy by word, deed or publication.
The seminar concluded by recommending the need to protect the privacy of the lecture from any encroachment by the student or the teacher and urging adherence to ethics and public morals in addition to knowing the acts that affect the dignity of the teacher or the student.
