The students of the Department of electronic technologies and communications made a scientific visit to the Kahla gas power plant, which comes within the annual program of the Department’s applied activities and in line with achieving the practical side and linking it with the theoretical to enhance the educational process and achieve its cognitive, skill and value outputs.
The trip included the teachers and students of the department, headed by the head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Jabbar Kabian, and they were received by the Assistant Station Manager, Engineer Haider Kazem, and the rest of the station’s engineers and technicians, where they provided a comprehensive explanation of the stages of electrical energy production and ways to control the outputs of the station technically and technically and the application of Occupational Safety and industrial security standards .
The visit concluded with the students ‘ various questions, which enriched the visit with valuable information and its correspondence with the theoretical materials.at the end of the visit, the head and students of the department thanked the general manager of the station and all the staff for their responsiveness and openness to our academic institutions.
