Under the auspices of the president of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Atik Abdullah, and under the supervision and presence of the dean of the Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saleh Abdul Ali, the annual student scientific conference for the current academic year 2024/2023, under the title ( scientific research is a path to knowledge and development towards a better future), where the conference opened by reciting any of the wise dhikr, then reading the Fatiha Surah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, after playing the Iraqi national anthem, then a speech by the dean of the Institute, in which he welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of student research as it represents a practical application to consolidate the theoretical concepts that the student has mastered during his studies will add him a dimension This research is capable of building a personality capable of creativity, taking responsibility and engaging in society, adding that the best effective way to discuss various scientific, professional and economic issues and presenting scientific results is through the establishment of scientific conferences, and this is what the institute is keen to establish annually
At the end of his speech, the dean of the Institute expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the participants, professors and students, the scientific and preparatory committees of the conference, the services division and all the workers who continued to work during the holidays and the assembly continuously during the past period for the success of this scientific Carnival, giving permission to start discussing research according to scientific specialties, where the Hall of the late khayun was allocated to discuss technological research, knowledge Hall to discuss medical research and creativity Hall to discuss administrative research, wishing success to all.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Department of medical laboratory technologies held an educational awareness campaign about autoimmune diseases to which humans are exposed.
