The Technical Institute organized a scientific workshop entitled (publishing in sober scientific journals), attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Jabbar as a statement, Head of the Department of electronic technologies and communications, and assistant professor Dr. Asad Kazem Akal, head of the Department of mechanical technologies.
The workshop aims to choose the right Journal with a high impact to raise the value of scientific research.
The workshop included several topics, the most important of which are the scourge of scientific research, brokers, the method of selecting the scientific journal and how to ensure that it enters the international absorptions.
At the end of the workshop, which was attended by a number of members of the institute, the researchers were urged to choose the type of scientific journal and its impact factor, as well as the need to enter the largest number of sober Iraqi journals within the scopus absorbers and follow the right methods in choosing the global and sober absorber and choosing sober Iraqi journals within the Scopus, clarviate, which lies within Q1, Q2, Q3, in addition to avoiding publishing through offices and magazines with low influence, anonymous location, profitability, sober and predatory
