In order to make the theoretical aspect on the ground in the applied aspect, the Department of electrical technologies organized a scientific visit for second-stage students to the Kahla gas power plant under the supervision of the teaching staff, assistant teacher Fatima Yassin Abdullah, head of the department, and engineer Zia Daoud Hussein .
The visit aims to inform the students about the nature of the work of the station, to link the theoretical study with the practical side and to clarify some practical applications of the work of the electrical system.the visit also aims to introduce the station managers to the nature and vocabulary of the subjects of the Department of electricity and job descriptions for graduates of technical institutes.
For her part, the head of the Department expressed her thanks and appreciation to the station officials and employees for the good reception and facilitating the task of the Department’s students in obtaining the necessary information and the practical addition they received during their visit.
